It has always been of utmost importance to Jelmez-Art to have adequate workshop capacity and a prepared professional team available for the growing professional tasks and increasingly complex productions. In recent years, we have therefore worked on developing our sewing room and expanding our workshop, so that we can participate in the production of costumes for domestic and international theater productions even more efficiently and under even better conditions.
Theatrical costume making is a particularly complex profession: the creative design ideas, the historical or stylized form, and the special requirements of stage use all determine the work. That is why it is important to us that our workshop continuously develops and provides an environment for our professionals where precise, artisanal work can be carried out at a high standard.
During the development, we aimed to make our workshop infrastructure and working environment even more supportive of the costume making process. Our goal was to be able to respond more flexibly and efficiently to the needs of different productions, whether it was a small theater project or a large-scale opera production, when collaborating with designers and production teams.
It is also important for us to maintain the professional approach that has defined the work of Jelmez-Art over the past three decades, while developing. The basis of costume making remains the knowledge of craftsmanship, precision and the professional experience that is passed down from generation to generation in the workshop. We believe that traditional tailoring and sewing knowledge is still a fundamental value today, which also plays a decisive role in modern theater productions.
We are happy to say that our team has also grown stronger in recent times due to the expanding projects. New colleagues have joined the Jelmez-Art workshop, who have come to us with different professional backgrounds and experiences. The arrival of new professionals not only increases our capacity, but also brings new perspectives, fresh energy and professional knowledge to everyday work.

The expansion of the team and the development of the workshop will allow us to participate in even more productions in the future and continue to cooperate as a reliable partner with theaters, opera houses and costume designers. We are proud that the costumes made in the Jelmez-Art workshop appear on many domestic and international stages and contribute to the creation of the visual world of theatrical performances.
We are confident that the current developments and the expansion of the team will provide a strong foundation in the long term for Jelmez-Art to continue to produce high-quality costumes that become part of theater and opera productions across Europe. The development of the workshop means not only an expansion of capacity for us, but also the continuation of the professional path that we began more than thirty years ago.
